Watch repairs
At H.Samuel we carry out repairs on a wide selection of watch brands. We also replace batteries, provide watch straps or supply you with our watch cleaning range so you can make your favourite wrist accessory look like new. We can help with Accurist, Adidas, Ben Sherman, Casio, Citizen, Diesel, DKNY, Fossil, Guess, Lorus, Rotary, Seiko, Sekonda, Playboy or Oasis watches, please check in your local store for details.
Watch straps & batteries
We have an extensive selection of watch straps and batteries that can be fitted in-store. Batteries can also be fitted for water resistant watches, subject to a longer waiting time.

Jewellery repairs
At H.Samuel, we can carry out quality repairs on all types of jewellery.
We can have rings re-sized and looking as good as new. Our stores also offer a ring sizing service. Alternatively, click here to check your ring size.
We will re-rhodium plate any white gold jewellery that was bought from H.Samuel free of charge within 12 months, as long as you have proof of purchase. After a year, a small charge will be made. Please contact your local store for details.

Free jewellery cleaning
We offer a complimentary cleaning service so that your jewellery looks as bright and exquisite as the day you bought it. Please ask in-store for details.
Engraving
Add a personal touch by having a piece of jewellery or a gift engraved in a choice of modern or traditional fonts.
Whether you are celebrating an engagement, birthday, anniversary or simply saying thank you to a friend or your wedding guests, engraving adds an unforgettable personal touch to a gift.
If an item is suitable for engraving, there will be a tick box on the product information page which says "engrave this item". If there is no tick box, the item cannot be engraved.
How much does it cost?
You can have the message of your choice engraved as long as it fits on the item you've selected. The amount of letters and respective costs appear below the product description on the product page, so you can check the price and message length without any commitment. Here is a guide to our prices.
- Up to 3 characters (including spaces) £7.00
- 4-10 characters (including spaces) £9.00
- 11-20 characters (including spaces) £12.00
- 21-30 characters (including spaces £15.00
- 31+ characters (including spaces) £18.00
Please make sure that you enter your message correctly as engraved items cannot be refunded.
What are the delivery options?
Engraving orders can take up to 10 working days to be processed and despatched therefore customers should allow for this additional time on top of our usual delivery times.
- Standard delivery is available on engraving orders of under £99.
- Next Day delivery is free on orders of £99 or more and will be automatically upgraded. Next Day delivery is not available for engraving orders under £150.
- DHL courier service is not available on engraving orders.
Expected delivery times are not shown in the delivery options page during checkout for engraving orders.
Some more FAQ's
Can I have gift packaging?
Engraved items can be gift packaged, however we do not offer greetings cards with an engraved order.
Can I have more than one engraved item in my order?
If you want more than one engraved item you will have to place separate orders for each item you want engraved.
Can I have an engraved item and a non-engraved item in the same order?
You will need to place separate orders - one for the engraved item and one for the non-engraved item. This is because it takes up to 10 working days for your engraved item to be despatched but just 2-3 working days for the non-engraved item to be despatched.
Can I return engraved items?
Engraved items cannot be returned unless the product is faulty. Please see our Returns & exchanges section for details.
What if the engraved message on my item is incorrect?
The message that you type during the checkout process is the exact message that will be engraved, so please ensure that what you have typed is correct and does not have any errors.

Make it personal, sentimental and fun. At H.Samuel, we have a fantastic range of beautiful jewellery that you can add your personal touch to and create amazing one-off pieces. Our Jewellery Design Service gives you an opportunity to do just that - turn your dream into a unique piece of jewellery.
How it works
Jewellery design service
Visit your nearest H.Samuel store and you can discuss your requirements with our store associate. Your ideas will be sent to our design department and then transformed into a workable design. The result will be a beautiful bespoke piece manufactured at our workshop in the heart of Birmingham's world renowned Jewellery Quarter.
Design Days
Alternatively, come along to our special Design Days, held at most H.Samuel stores. Discuss your ideas in our free consultation with one of our trained design co-ordinators. What we can do
Shaped wedding rings
We specialise in creating wedding rings that fit perfectly with your engagement ring. You can choose from our catalogue or simply create your own unique design to suit your style. After approving the detailed picture of your wedding ring, it will be manufactured and you'll have your very own designer ring in no time.
Unique piece of jewellery
Take the role of a designer and create your own jewellery. Design everything from rings and pendants to earrings and bracelets as well as much, much more. Our Birmingham workshop uses state-of-the art design software and traditional techniques to produce your design.
Resetting and re-styling
If you have a treasured piece of jewellery that you would like altered or updated, H.Samuel will give any piece of jewellery a well-deserved makeover.

Ring sizer
The easiest way to check your ring size is to come in to your local H.Samuel store where our friendly, fully trained staff will be happy to help you, free of charge. They will measure your finger using an industry-standard ring sizer.
Most of our ladies' rings are available in sizes I to S, and most of our men's rings in P to Z. We may be able to order rings outside this range, but they could take a couple of weeks to arrive. Alternatively, with some styles of ring, we may be able to resize another ring for you.

Valuation service
If you have any item of jewellery and are unsure of its value, visit your local H.Samuel store and we can arrange for a fully qualified National Association of Goldsmiths valuer to appraise your jewellery for insurance or probate.

So, as part of our superior service, we offer you the choice of taking our PremierCare insurance. This simple, low cost cover gives you the peace of mind of knowing that everything you buy at H.Samuel is fully protected.
PremierCare is an insurance policy issued by Assurant General Insurance Limited which is available to protect all your purchases, from jewellery to gifts, up to the value of £6,000, and watches up to the value of £5,000 per single item excluding Rolex.
We can offer our customers a 2, 3 or 5 year protection policy which ensures your purchases are repaired or replaced following accidental damage, malfunction or theft.
